WBO/IBF lightweight champion Nate Campbell did not make weight for his mandatory title defense against Ali Funeka, scheduled to take place tomorrow night in Florida and televised by HBO. Campbell hit the scales and was three pounds over, coming in at 138-pounds. Funeka came in at 133.5. Campbell has two hours to lose the weight. If he doesn't lose the weight, the titles may become vacant or go to Funeka - if he beats Campbell tomorrow night. All depending if the two parties reach a side-deal. More info as it comes.
WBC interim-junior welterweight champion Sergio Martinez was 153.25, and opponent Kermit Cintron was a bit over at 154.25. Cintron made the weight shortly after.
Undefeated junior middleweight prospect Alfredo Angulo was 153.5 and Cosme Rivera weighed-in at 151.5.
