Natasha Jonas has had her third foe confirmed.
The Toxteth fighter put on a flawless display last weekend at the ECHO Arena, exclusively live on Sky Sports.
Jonas stopped Bojana Libiszewska in the final of four rounds on the undercard of Paul Butler’s victory over Stuart Hall.
And although it was widely known beforehand, it was confirmed shortly afterwards that the 33-year-old will return in under two weeks’ time.
‘Miss GB’, trained by Joe Gallagher in Bolton, has a spot on the JDNXTGEN card on October 13 at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London, which will be screened exclusively live on Sky Sports and on the broadcaster’s Facebook page.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed after Jonas’ win on the ‘Battle On The Mersey’ card recently that she would come up against Karina Kopinska next weekend.
Kopinska, a 28-year-old from Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland, has been in the ring with Jonas’ long-time rival Katie Taylor and her Team GB compatriot Chantelle Cameron and has won just one of her last five.
There was then talk that Natasha could be pitted against Nina Meinke, another former Katie Taylor victim, as Hearn looks to push the Scouser towards a showdown with Taylor in the pro ranks.
Jonas will be joined at York Hall by the return of Charlie Edwards as well as Jason Cunningham’s defence of the Commonwealth featherweight title against undefeated WBC International Silver champion Reece Bellotti.
Isaac Chamberlain boxes on the card in his ninth pro outing, while there is action for Felix Cash, English super-welterweight champion Ted Cheeseman and super-middleweight Craig Richards.
