The World Boxing Organization shall appoint neutral judges and neutral referee in the fight on April 15 in Argentina between Puerto Rican challenger, undefeated Cesar Seda, and the 115-pound champion, Omar Narvaez, sources have said.
Seda is now stationed at the Olympic Village in Salinas, where he plans to train for the next five weeks, then he will finish off his training in Aregentina, where he plans to travel well in advance.
"Now the fight is official. We're at the Olympic Village and we were told by [promoter] Gary Shaw that the judges and the referee will be neutral. Before we leave for Argentina, I think there will be two conferences, one in San Juan on [March] 16 and another on [March] 18 at Ponce and Juana Diaz," said his coach and father of the same name.
For his part, Francisco Valcarcel, president of the WBO, confirmed that all of the officials will be from "anywhere in the world except in Argentina and Puerto Rico."
