Mosley-Mayorga II: Joel Diaz Faces Arceo in Co-Feature

BoxingScene.com has been advised that top lightweight prospect Joel Diaz (19-0 15 KOs) will return to the ring on August 29th versus Luis Arceo (28-13 18 KOs) in the co-feature slot underneath the Shane Mosley-Ricardo Mayorga 2 main event.  The fight will be scheduled for 10 rounds at the 135 pound lightweight limit.

Diaz, who is promoted by Jean Pascal Promotions, last fought on July 25th when he stopped Alejandro Rodriguez in 4 rounds. Arceo  has won 5 of his last 7 and has been in the ring with the likes of Josesito Lopez, Jose Zepeda and Mercito Gesta.

Mosley-Mayorga 2 takes place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. and will be distributed on a pay-per-view basis by Integrated Sports.

I was sorta w/e about this card, but if Joel Diaz is on it I guess I will be watching now. Good measurement type fight for Diaz with some of the names on Arceo's resume. Plus nice to see him…
