When Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced that his 49th and final fight would be against former welterweight champion Andre Berto, the reviews weren't glowing to say the least.  You can also put future Hall of Famer "Sugar" Shane Mosley in that category.

BoxingScene.com caught up with Mosley at his Las Vegas media day for his August 29th pay-per-view showdown against his nemesis Ricardo Mayorga.

Mosley feels that Mayweather should be facing his friend and sparring partner Shawn Porter instead.

"Mayweather is an excellent fighter. He is sharp and he is fast. Berto is a B, A minus fighter.  He really should be fighting Shawn Porter who is coming off a victory over Adrien Broner. You have Keith Thurman and all of these young fighters and myself,  myself included - willing to fight Mayweather. I can't see it but he knows best," Mosley stated.

Mayweather-Berto takes place on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mosley fought, and lost a twelve round decision, to Mayweather in May of 2010.
