Molina, Redkach, Close Out 'Fight Night Club' Season

LOS ANGELES - Golden Boy Promotions and AEG will pull out all the stops for the season finale of "Fight Night Club," with six professional and three amateur bouts that will lift the roof off of L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia on Thursday, November 18.

In the main event, scheduled for eight rounds in the junior welterweight division, unbeaten Norwalk, California native Carlos Molina (13-0, 7 KO's) takes on Puerto Rico's John Figueroa (7-7-3, 3 KO's).  In the co-featured bout of the evening, it will be bombs away when LA-based Ukrainian Ivan Redkach (4-0, 4 KO's) looks for a fifth straight knockout win against fellow banger Roni Avalado of (3-3, 3 KO's) of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico in a six round lightweight contest.

Opening up the Fox Sports Net broadcast will be southpaw knockout artist Fidel Maldonado Jr. (5-0, 5 KO's), a recent signee of Golden Boy Promotions from Albuquerque, who will take on Guadalajara's Luis Sanchez (0-3) in a four round lightweight matchup.  Also featured will be debuting featherweight Manuel Avila of Fairfield, California against an opponent to be determined in a four round bout and the always-exciting "Fight Night Club" veteran Ramon Valadez (3-1, 1 KO) will fight in a four round lightweight contest against Ramon Flores (3-8-1, 3 KO's) of Wilmington.

In other action, Santa Ana's Salvador Rios (1-1) squares off with Santa Fe Springs' Gerardo Melendrez (0-1-1) in a four-round welterweight scrap.

Three amateur bouts are also on tap this Thursday, with Seniesa Estrada of Montebello battling Shanne Ruelas of Fresno, Luis Bello of Maywood taking on Luis Seldano of Duarte and Robert Galvan of Santa Ana stepping through the ropes to face Julian Cruz of Long Beach.  All amateur bouts are scheduled for three rounds.

"Fight Night Club" is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and AEG and is sponsored by DeWalt Tools, McDonald's, Budweiser, Powerade and USTREAM.  The fights will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net (FSN) and its regional sports network affiliates (check local listings) and streamed live online at www.ustream.com and www.RingTV.com at 8:00 p.m. PT/11:00 p.m. ET.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PT and the first bell rings at 7:00 p.m. PT.
