Moises Flores Confident: Guillermo Rigondeaux is Not Invincible!

By Reynaldo "El Papi Chulo" Sanchez

IBO/WBA interim-super bantamweight champion Moises 'Chucky' Flores (25-0, 17 KOs) is back in the full mix with his intense preparation for his upcoming fight on February 25th, against the full super bantamweight world champion of the WBA, Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 10 KOs).

Flores joined training camp along with his team, and returned to the gym this past Monday and plans to increase the intensity of his exercises until the day of the weigh-in.

"I enjoyed Christmas together with my children and the family, but it was time to once again work hard here in the gym. We have a plan of work to meet, and we are focused on achieving the best physical level to get to throw many punches from the first round," said Flores, from the gym where he’s training, to BoxingScene.com.

Flores says the preparation for this fight will be the key.

"We are trying to achieve the highest technical and physical level possible. Every day we are closer to achieving our best level. Being in the gym next to my coach Rafael Guzman gives me the confidence to arrive strong at this huge opportunity and leave the ring with my hand raised," Flores said.

"I'm going to leave every drop of sweat in the gym. Every day puts me closer to the fight. Our plan is to take the best route possible and I feel strong and I'm willing to fight right now. When you have confidence in yourself and the team, the result must be victory ... I will put forth the best of myself to win this fight and that's why I'm here."

Flores added - "Training in the gym is the key, this is the most important fight of my career and I have to get ready that night to make this a fight from the first round. Rigondeaux is an excellent boxer, but he is not invincible.”

if ducking was punishable by a fine Rigo would be Pound for Pound king right now . .ducking has rendered him irrelevant, nobody wants that work.

He's going to take Rigo into deep waters, then Rigo will drown him there lol.

Poor Rigo, the most avoided fighter in boxing. Rigo by KO inside of 9 rounds

Alot of fans seem to think pretty highly of Flores but he is kind of crude from what ive seen. He isnt polished enough to beat Rigo. I doubt this fight is close
