McJoe Arroyo-Mark Geraldo IBF Eliminator Ordered

By Carlos Boogs

The International Boxing Federation [IBF] has ordered an eliminator for the number one ranking in the junior bantamweight division - between contenders McJoe Arroyo (15-0, 8KOs) of Puerto Rico and Mark Geraldo (31-4-3, 14KOs) of the Philippines. The negotiations must begin immediately and a deal must be reached by October 28th or a purse bid will be ordered.

Arroyo is promoted by Puerto Rico Best Boxing Promotions, while Geraldo is handled by Manny Pacquiao's MP Promotions.

For Arroyo, this is the second eliminator in a row. In June he stopped Hernan "Tyson" Marquez in the eleventh round of another IBF eliminator.
