Marco Huck Wants Haye and Holyfield as Sparring Partners

By Ruslan Chikov

Reports in Germany suggest that WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-1, 25KOs) is looking for the best sparring partners possible. Huck is training for his heavyweight debut on February 25th in Germany. He faces WBA "regular" heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (23-0, 16KOs).

Huck wants to spar with former heavyweight champions David Haye and Evander Holyfield. Haye, who retired in October, has a close relationship with Huck's promoter, Sauerland Event. Sauerland also hold a good relationship with Holyfield.

In the coming days, promoter Kalle Sauerland plans to ask both boxers if they would be interested in sparring with Huck at the Mx Schmeling gym in Berlin.
