In Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, former champion Manuel "Chango" Vargas (28-5-1, 13 KOs) stopped Michael Arango (30-9-3, 24 KOs) in the sixth round of a flyweight bout. Vargas is looking to get himself in line for another major title shot.

The co-feature saw bantamweight prospect Juan "Gallito" Estrada (14-0, 12 KOs) crush Carlos Rodriguez (16-8-3, 5 KOs) in two rounds. Estrada continues his rise in the bantamweight ranks and his popularity continues to grow with the Mexican fans.

One of Top Rank's best rising prospects, junior featherweight Roberto Marroquin (15-0, 12 KOs), stopped Jesus Quintero (8-5-2, 4 KOs) in three rounds. Top Rank is grooming Marroquin for big things in the future.
