Majewski Preparing To Nullify Curtis Stevens' Power

Middleweight contender Przemysław "The Machine" Majewski (21-2, 13 KOs) is training hard for his return on Friday January 24th at the Resort Casino in Atlantic City - when he faces the very dangerous Curtis Stevens (25-4, 18 KOs) in an NBC Sports televised contest. Majewski plans to use his height and distance to keep Stevens' power at bay. A consistent jab is the likely weapon of choice for Majewski in the contest.

"For me the most important thing is that I give everything of myself in training, and because of that I will come to the ring in a good mental state and I will be prepared for him. Everything is firmly in place with preparing for this fight. I saw Stevens fight and you can see that he has a very strong punch, and I will therefore try to keep my distance so I don't get hit with too many punches. I have a natural advantage over him, I am taller and have a longer each - it would be a sin not to use that," Majewski said.

The guy is listed as Patrick Majewski on Boxrec, and the only formidable challenge he's had besides his last fight (which he lost vs Patrick Nielson) was probably Jose Torres (who David Lemieux just recently KOd), and he lost to…
