Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City - IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (30-0, 24KOs) is pulling for Carl Froch to defeat Andre Ward in their 168-pound unification later tonight. Bute, who plans to sit ringside, is upset with some of the comments Froch made about his record and his ability. However, Bute views it as a very tough task for Froch to accomplish.
"[I give the edge to] Andre Ward [because of] his ability and skills, his legs, his speed. But, one punch can change the fight. I want Carl Froch to win this fight. It's personal [between us], but it's difficult for him to win," Bute told BoxingScene.com.
"I'm not surprised with the trash talking of Froch about me. The talking will end when I see him in the ring. The ring is talking and I'm going to beat him when we fight together."
