Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin (21-1) is putting the final touches on his training camp for his October 26th super welterweight showdown against Nathaniel Gallimore (21-3-1). The fight will headline a Showtime televised tripleheader that will take place at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

The original opponent for Lubin was Terrell Gausha but the 2012 Untied States Olympian withdrew from the fight late in camp with an injury. His slot was quickly filled by the battle tested Gallimore.

Lubin’s trainer Kevin Cunningham recently told BoxingScene.com that Gallimore is a bigger puncher and is a more dangerous fight for his charge.

Cunningham’s fighter also has power but the veteran trainer believes that Lubin’s skillset will prove to be the key factor that leads him to victory.

“We’ve had a tremendous training camp for this fight. One week of camp left and then fight week. Hammer’s weight is right on point and he’s ready to blaze. Gallimore’s a big puncher but Hammer’s a big puncher with skills and I think that’s going to be the difference in this fight,” Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.

Robert Easter will look to bounce back from his draw against Rances Barthelemy I’m the co-feature bout when he takes on Adrian Granados. Hard hitting heavyweight prospect Efe Ajagba will open up the telecast against Jack Mulowayi.
