In a recent new brief on BoxingScene.com, James “Lights Out” Toney, a former three-division world champion and one of the greatest defensive specialists of all time, issued a verbal challenge to both Alexander Povetkin and Denis Lebedev - and vowed to give a strong beating to both Russian stars - with the first beating being dished out to cruiserweight star Denis Lebedev on November 5th in Moscow, Russia.

Vladimir Hryunov, the powerful manager of both Povetkin and Lebedev, commented on the legend’s recent trash-talk.

“Tonight, when it was a late in Russia, James Toney said that he was ready to come to Russia to face Denis Lebedev," commented Hryunov to the “Soviet Sport” media agency. “In a few hours, I’ll phone his manager and we shall surely reach an agreement. The fight with [Alexander] Povetkin isn’t going to happen. Denis will tear Toney apart!”
