WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (22-0-1, 20KOs) wants to punish challenger Ismayl Sillakh (21-1, 17KOs) for his past trash talk. The fight takes place on Saturday night at Colisee de Quebec in Quebec City. Kovalev claims that Sillkah ducked him last year and instead accepted a fight with Denis Grachev. In that fight, Sillkah suffered a shocking eight round TKO defeat after winning the first seven rounds with ease.

"Even before the fight with Grachev, he talked too much, and I want to punish him. I will go for the knockout but I won't be looking for just one punch - because if you try to set it up with one punch it does not work. I will go out and focus on the situation. God only knows how it's going to play out. In the past he ducked me to fight Grachev, and now we get to finish our fight," Kovalev said.
