Kina Malpartida Stops Maureen Shea in TKO Upset

By Mark Vester

In what is considered an upset to some, and no surprise to others, Kina Malpartida (9-3, 2 KOs) stopped previously undefeated super featherweight Maureen Shea (13-1, 7 KOs) in the tenth round of their bout on the undercard to Miguel Cotto-Michael Jennings at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Malpartida went down in the first, but came back to drop Shea in the tenth. Malpartida jumped on Shea once she beat the count and attacked until the ref jumped in.

Mo' Shea got her ass kicked at the Hammerstein a few years ago by a 6ft. tall, bolo swing lesbian(these are facts, not scatalogical insults) from Atlanta...unfortunately, the Atl. tested positive for weed--and Maureen's been able to parlay her image...

Just to clarify, upset to unlettereds and no surprise to connoisseurs. Be honest, Kina was 1000 better.
