Unbeaten welterweight sensation Yoshihiro Kamegai (21-0, 18 KOs), who is making his American television debut on Saturday against Jorge Silva (18-2-1, 14 KOs) at the Memorial Auditorium in downtown Sacramento, Calif., will hold a public workout two blocks away at Urijah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness (1705 I St.) on Friday morning at 11 a.m.

Slated to appear alongside Kamegai is former world champion Jorge Linares (31-3, 20 KOs), who will be fighting aging veteran Hector Velazquez (52-17-3, 35 KOs) in the Fox Sports-televised lightweight co-feature.

Hometown pugilists Guy Robb (9-1, 4 KOs), an exciting featherweight known for his Fight of the Year candidate on ShoBox in January against Joel Diaz Jr., as well as junior featherweight John Abella (2-0, 1 KO), will also be present at the event.

The weigh-in will take place a block and a half away at Purgatory Restaurant (1616 J St.) at 4 p.m. the same day.
