K9: I'd Punish Miguel Cotto, He Don't Want This Work!

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com's news editor Steve Kim recently reported that Tim Bradley, Brandon Rios and IBF super welterweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage are in the running to be WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto's next opponent. Cotto is planning on returning to the ring in May or June.

Bundrage, who appeared in the second season of the Contender, told BoxingScene.com that he is very interested in adding Cotto's belt to his collection and sent us the following message:

"Yeah I will punish Cotto. He don't want this work. I will have the junior middleweight belt and will snatch the middleweight belt. This ain't Canelo, this Iron DogG K9!"

Bundrage is no stranger to negotiating with Cotto's team as he almost faced him in December 2012. He was a finalist to face the Puerto Rican superstar but Cotto opted to face Austin Trout who beat him via unanimous decision instead.

And they say Cotto picks on cripples. Not true. He picks on the elderly too! K9. No just no.

K9? Garbage fight. Rios? Garbage fight. Bradley? Garbage fight @ 160, okay fight @ 154 I guess. Miguel needs to make the GGG fight for June and pass the torch already. Or move back down to 154. YOU DON'T LIKE…
How is Khan a better option then Bradley?
He's taller. That is seriously all that matters to a lot of people on here. The bigger fighter is more dangerous simply because of that and nothing else, skill and quality have…
K9 is a decent opponent for the Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend in NYC. Cotto should be able to win easily, and take another belt in the 154 division. However, Cotto will have to follow up this fight with something…
