Joseph Agbeko Inks Promotional Pact With Top Rank

by Ryan Burton

Former bantamweight champion Joseph "King Kong" Agbeko (29-4) has advised BoxingScene.com that he has signed a promotional contract with Top Rank. Agbeko also recently signed a contract with prominent manager Frank Espinoza.

Agbeko faces WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux on December 7th in a fight that will be televised on HBO. Top Rank has many of the top fighters in and around the super bantamweight division and Agbeko said that is a key reason why he decided to sign with them.

"Right now I am with Top Rank and I feel they are one of the best promoters out there. They have a lot of good fighters in my division and I know that I am going to be busy," Agbeko told BoxingScene.com.
