MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Alexis Hernandez (3-1, 1KO) scored two knockdowns before the fight was waved off with Jazzma Hogue (2-4-1) at 2:20 of the first.

Olympian Jose Ramirez (1-0, 1KO) made his pro debut with a fury, stopping Corey Siegwarth (2-2, 1KO) in the first round of a lightweight contest. Siegwarth went from a hard hook to the body. Ramirez went back the body and unloaded with shots to the head, which forced referee Vic Drakulich to jump in and wave it off.

Featherweight prospect Dodie Boy Penalosa (10-0, 10KOs) drilled Jesus Lule-Raya (6-5, 1KO) in two rounds. Penalosa caught him cold with a counter left hook that knocked Ray down and out. The referee quickly waved off the fight.

In the first bout of the evening, Ernie Sanchez (14-3, 5KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Coy Evans (10-2-1, 2KOs) in a super featherweight contest. The scores were 78-73, 77-74 and 78-73

It was a fun fight to watch. Sanchez was rocked with several punches in the second, but came back strong in the third to rock and eventually drop Evans to the mat. By the end of the third, Evans began to rally with both hands. Both boxers had their moments and traded punches until the final bell.
