Jeyvier Cintron, Luis Lebron Back on September 1, Puerto Rico

After their victories last Friday in Barranquilla, Colombia, Jeyvier Cintron and Luis "Popeye" Lebron will be back in the ring on Saturday, September 1, in the return of the series "Sabado de Campeones en Casino Metro Boxing Nights", at the San Juan Ballroom of the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino of San Juan in a presentation of PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) to be broadcasted on Wapa 2 Deportes.

"We will return to the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino with this card "Sabado de Campeones en Casino Metro Boxing Nights ", on September 1, with Jeyvier and Popeye in the main bouts," promoter Iván Rivera, president of PRBBP, said.

"We are already working on making a good card, which will be seen on Wapa 2 Deportes and we are going to make an announcement soon."

The two-time Olympian (2012 and 2016), Cintron (7-0, 4 KOs), will return from defeating Venezuelan Gregory Vera (12-2, 6 KOs) last Friday to win the WBO Youth world bantamweight title and will defend his belt against a foe to be determined.

For Cintron this will be his second fight in Puerto Rico.

Meanwhile, Lebron (12-0-1, 6 KOs), who successfully defended his WBO Latino featherweight on July 27, will expose this crown for the second time against an opponent to be announced. For Lebron, ranked #12 by the WBO in the featherweight division, it will be his first bout in Puerto Rico since April 2017.
