BoxingScene.com has been advised that Bryant Jennings (18-0, 10KOs) vs. Mike Perez (20-0-1, 12KOs) could potentially take place on July 26th at Madison Square Garden in New York. The card will be headlined by WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who is likely going to face Daniel Geale - if the WBA sanctions the fight.

Jennings and Perez, sanctioned as a WBC heavyweight eliminator, was previously scheduled to take place on May 24th at the American Bank Arena in Texas. The entire show was cancelled when Perez withdrew with a shoulder injury. Coincidently, Geale was also tabbed for this card against Matthew Macklin.

The rescheduling of Jennings-Perez, to July 26, will depend on when Perez is medically cleared to begin full training and if he'll have enough time to properly train for the date.
