James DeGale May Vacate if Groves Won't Budge

JAMES DeGALE fears he will never defend his British title if he does not fight bitter rival George Groves next.

The 2008 Olympic gold medallist captured the domestic super-middleweight belt in just his ninth paid fight when he stopped Scouser Paul Smith in December.

He said: “I’m not too sure if the Groves fight will happen, hopefully it does. I want to win the Lonsdale belt outright by defending the British title three times but, domestically, who is there for me to fight?”
