Jacobs: Arias Has To Be Super Human To Win, I'll Be His Kryptonite

Former middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) is ready to put on a show when he faces undefeated contender Luis Arias (18-0, 9 KOs) in a 12-round middleweight bout.

The event will take place Saturday, November 11 at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York and will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT in the US and on Sky Sports in the UK.
Opening the HBO telecast will be super lightweight bout, with Cletus Seldin and Roberto Ortiz squaring off in a 10-rounder. And in the chief-support bout, exciting heavyweight Jarrell Miller looks to stake his claim on a heavyweight title shot and in his way is Polish giant Mariusz Wach.

Jacobs is coming off a close twelve round decision loss to middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin from back in March.

Arias is taking a big step up in competition against one of the bigger and most skilled middleweight in the division.

Jacobs strongly believes that Arias is out of his element and plans to expose his lack of "elite level" skills.

"He has to be super human to beat me and I will be his kryptonite.  I don't think he has the mentality.  He talks a lot of trash but when you  go in there it's a different story.  Yeah, you can make it sound good outside the ring - you can trash talk and you can try and hype yourself up but it's a totally different story once you get inside that ring - you get hit then you realize you are in there with a totally different caliber of fighter," Jacobs said.

"I am elite compared to the caliber of opponents he has fought in his professional career.  He talks about the amateurs but you can't talk about amateurs and I don't know why he's highlighting his amateur career. I mean, when do we highlight amateur fights at this level - it really doesn't mean anything now.  There are levels to this game and I am going to show him that on November 11."

Arias is getting his shot so he's definitely a live dog. I'm interested in seeing how Jacobs rebounds from his loss to GGG. I expect him to be on his game but this is going to be an interesting match…
I saw that his defence is weak as he doesn't cover up. He is too over confident.
Yeah that's why I'm confident Jacobs would knock him out, and he doesn't move his head also and stays in the pocket for…
The dude exposed himself so much against the russian guy. His Body work is sloppy and exposes his chin entirely. Jacobs would counter this guy.
I saw that his defence is weak as he doesn't cover up. He is too…
