Heffron-Concepcion Confirmed By Coldwell For 11/22

By Terence Dooley

Dave Coldwell of Coldwell Boxing has told BoxingScene that Oldham's undefeated prospect Mark Heffron will meet Martin Concepcion over six rounds on Coldwell Boxing's November 22 show at Manchester's Bowlers Exhibition Centre.

Heffron, 7-0 (6), is coming off a second-round KO over Cuba's Julio Acosta in Spain last month and he will be keen to add the former British light-middle challenger's name to his W column.  Concepcion, 19-10 (12), picked up the vacant BBBoC Midlands Area Super middleweight title with a win over Ryan Clarke in his last fight; the Leicester man goes by the moniker "The Immaculate" and he injected life back into his career with the win.

Both boxers pack a punch.  With Heffron, 21, on the way up and Concepcion, 32, striving for to make another run towards the main domestic title the stage is set for a belated firework show come the night.
