DAVID HAYE believes his £40m unification showdown against Wladimir Klitschko is just like Rocky IV.
WBA heavyweight champion David Haye sees big similarities with the 1985 movie where Rocky Balboa conquered Russian robot Ivan Drago.
And the Londoner hopes that there will be a real life Rocky ending against IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in front of 50,000 fans at Hamburg’s Imtech Arena on July 2.
Haye, 30, explained: “I have watched the movie many times. It gets you pumped up.
“You see Ivan Drago training in this state-of-the-art facility like Klitschko is out there in the Austrian Alps in this health spa.
“And I’m down here in Vauxhall in my gym with my trainer Adam Booth, grafting away, doing my thing.
“I’m training to put myself in a position, an uncomfortable position, and push my body more than I’ve ever done before.
“I know that he will not be able to deal with the heat I’m going to bring him. He will crumble.”
