Fury: I'm Facing Wilder Because Joshua Has No Guts, No Nuts!

TYSON FURY says he will fight Deontay Wilder because Anthony Joshua hasn’t got the ‘nuts’ to face the American.

The former world heavyweight champion claims a deal is almost done for him to challenge the WBC title holder in Las Vegas this December.

WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF champion Joshua failed to agree a deal with Wilder’s team and Fury blamed the British star and his promoter Eddie Hearn it falling through.

He said: “They’ve no bottle, no heart and no guts. I’m taking this fight to prove to the British public what they are - s***houses. Joshua is on form, he has had no time off, he’s world champion and he’s supposed to be the golden boy of British boxing.

“I’ve had to come out of retirement to put British boxing back on the map because at the minute we are a laughing stock. The whole of America is laughing at us. It takes the Gypsy King to come out after three years to beat the best fighter out there.

“When you’ve got no nuts, you won’t fight people. Why don’t you fight Wilder for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world and get $80m in the meanwhile?

“He has been exposed in my opinion and if he does fight Wilder he will get knocked out because he’s useless.

“When you’re a world champion and nearly 30 and you won’t fight other men, for millions of pounds, you’re a bum and a s***house and you shouldn’t be involved in boxing.

“There will be no s***house here. I won’t blame a contract or a few more million dollars on why a fight isn’t happening.”

Wilder’s team have stopped short of saying a deal is on the brink of being signed to face Fury but the Manchester-born fighter’s camp are adamant it will be once he beats Francesco Pianeta next month.

Fury takes on the former world title challenger on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s clash with Luke Jackson at Windsor Park in Belfast.

Fury made his comeback in June after a 32-month absence beating Sefer Seferi in a farcical fight which lasted just four rounds.

He added: “The one thing I can say about Deontay Wilder is that he is brave. They tried to do a fight with Joshua, Joshua has run his behind in the bushes, they don’t want no part of it. That’s it.

“He (Wilder) wants to come after me. He wants to become the lineal heavyweight champion of the world and to do that he needs to beat me.

“I believe I am the best in the world by a mile and my three years out of the ring can have only given them a quarter of a mile, I am still three quarters ahead.

“I will prove it by knocking out Pianeta, I will prove it by going to Las Vegas and knocking out Wilder and then I will outbox all the bums over here too.”
