Fury: I Have No Need To Lie - I Could Beat Joshua Tomorrow

By Declan Taylor, courtesy of The Daily Star

TYSON FURY taunted rival Anthony Joshua after targeting a crack at the world title before the end of the year.

The former heavyweight champion will launch his comeback on June 9 after more than two-and-a-half years out of the ring.

Fury - suspended in 2016 following anti-doping and medical issues - will return at the Manchester Arena and insists victory will usher in another decade at the top.

Since Fury last fought, Joshua has become boxing’s biggest star and currently holds Fury’s old WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO titles.

But Fury insists he will return better than ever and more than ready to topple the current poster boy of British boxing.

After signing a multi-fight deal with Star sport columnist and promoter Frank Warren, Fury said: “I’m ready. I could beat Anthony Joshua tomorrow night.

“I could beat AJ, Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker. I could beat them all and I’m ready to fight.

“I have no need to lie, I’m better now than I was before, a lot better.

“If I could fight for a world title tomorrow I would. I told Frank Warren many times to get AJ for the comeback.

“I don’t rate him at all against me. I just think I’ve got his number because my style is all wrong for him.

“Within a couple of fights I will have won the world title back, 100 per cent. I’m looking to win the world title back by the end of this year.

“I know nobody can beat me and I’m 29, not 49. I’ve got another 10 years left in me.”
I think so yes. Remember he only ponced around Klitschko for 12 rnds barely throwing, neither man made it a fight. That was not “taking the titles” nor was it a defence, the big Klitschko (as I already said) was…
Everyone beats Joshua according to you :lol1: Such fangirl behaviour yet you probably can't even see it.
There is always an epilogue for Joshua dick blowers like you. I’ll share it the minute the “stiff one” finds the balls to…
Seeing how Parker had AJ frozen with feints Fury is a style nightmare for the stiff Joshua. That's if this guy is truly back in shape and has the same reflexes. But vs Wilder no chance. Wilder would nuke Fury's…
