Froch: Abraham Only Needs To Land Once on Ward

By Chris LaBate

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is still sticking to his position of giving Arthur Abraham a puncher's chance against WBA champ Andre Ward. The fight has been announced for May 14 at the Home Depot Center in California. Abraham has lost two out of his last three fights. Froch, who dominated Abraham in their Super Six bout, refuses to write him off.

"Style's make fights. I'm sure plenty have written Abraham off following his two defeats in his last three fights. But Arthur has bricks in his gloves, he only has to land that money shot once and it could turn the fight around. It will be interesting to see Ward against a common opponent. We both fought Kessler under significantly different circumstances, but this one will hopefully reveal more about our standings in the tournament." concluded Froch to

Froch is facing Glen Johnson on May 21. No venue has been set. The Froch-Johnson and Ward-Abraham winners will face each other in the final bout of the Super Six tournament.
Ward could embarrass Abraham, I think Ward is straight through to the final. I might be wrong, but I see a very one-sided fight. The Froch/Johnson fight will be better :boxing:
All Ward has to do is what Froch did…

Froch used his reach and his angles to keep Abraham right in front of him, and Froch's power should be recognized since Dirrell was popping Arthur with alot and he still kept charging. Aganst Froch, Abraham couldnt even time anything.…

I expect ward to dominate in a one sided affair that will once again expose the fact that AA has no skills whatsoever.
