It's just the news and footage I have seen of NY recently to be honest. It's probaby not that bad in the centre of the city and where tourists would go.

hahahaha I set a bin on fire at the side of a nightclub in Aberdeen. I went outside to make a phone call, then the bouncers didn't let me back in. My very expensive jacket was inside so being drunk I concocted a plan to get it........ I went around the side, set the bin on fire, then went around the block and back into the nightclub while the bouncers left the front-door got my jacket back. Unfortunately the whole thing was on CCTV.
