You can tell your teacher that people are so bored now-a-days they have to claim they put in work in arcane areas that are not exactly exciting to most people lol. yes i looked at Chinese Confucian Texts along with Buddhist sutra, shastrika that came into China... then I took the character, looked at it in the dictionary, rinse wash repeat.... (five pages later)... Went to bed and when i closed my eyes could not sleep...i think some of the characters burned into my eyes!!
