honestly don't understand why pure Math areas are not organized into one abstract visual tree. While i appreciate you enumerating & explaining the intention of the different subjects it does tell me whats branching from what. For example the word "spaces" is a good abstract criteria where Topology can branch from, is that the case?. I'm still looking for a visual tree of Mathematics in a flow chart format. I understand that the issue is complex since most of the subjects are inter-relate in some way & the use of lines & arrows can get very complex. Has anyone attempted this...any ideas on this?
