You mentioned the coaching situation. I was talking to my family about that when watching the Notre Dame debacle. If you do let Helton go who are you going to replace him with? Every coaching search seems to have the top 5 guys on the list turn the job down. I ask my uncle who is a USC alum why. His response " Many coaches turn it down because of the pressure to beat Notre Dame and Ucla each year." Risk reward situation is what it comes down to and job security. You would think all the top coaches would be foaming at the mouth for the job when its available . By the way the spread is at - 14.5 on ESPN line now.
