Dont call Thomas Sowell a Tom. The guy is a highly educated and a well respected scholar. You call him a Tom because you don't like what he has to say, but you should listen, because he knows what he is talking about.
Not dis*****g that black people have a negative stigma, and no I never had to prove that I am a "good" white, and I can see the frustration in that. However, lets acknowledge the fact that even though the vast majority of black folk are good people, there are a certain few that really portray a negative culture.

How do you go about changing the culture? It's a complicated situation and I don't have a clear answer, I don't think anyone does. Maybe get more Thomas Sowells and Barrack *****s. More black folk in power so that the youth can see that these are all achievable dreams.
