Jamaicans came off to me as typical white people in behavior but obviously with much darker skin. Economically your country is akin to some in Eastern Europe, but has much more potential than a Moldova or a Slovakia. I'm guessing corruption has a lot to do with preventing it from expanding economically.
Tourism is your biggest industry and imo is still very under developed. Jamaica with its beautiful weather and water should be a Utopia for countries all over the world to come and vacation and not just the USA. More money needs to be diverted into infrastructure, to make your towns, cities, and markets looks pretty and the police force has to curb crime so tourists could feel safe if they ever wanted to venture off to one of your bazaars and spend their money at your businesses. If that does happen in the future, Jamaicas economy would explode.
