The question with a Mayweather fight is at what weight? That’s the big question. At 140 I don’t think there’s any problem making that fight. If Floyd wants to come in at a higher weight, I don’t know.

At the right weight? No problem. At 147?? Forget it. Manny doesn’t need it. Manny’s best weight is 140.

IMPORTANT FACTS

• In 2008 Manny fought Oscar at 147
• Since at least 2005 Pacq was coming in at 142 and up on fight night
• Mayweather hadn't fought at 140 since 2005
• In 2007 Foyd had fought as high as 152 against Oscar at jmw

CONCLUSION
Top Rank was looking to drain Floyd. We've seen them do this with several other fighters. Margarito, Cotto, Marquez (3), Oscar*.
