When Berlanga pushed Lubin to the ropes. Lubin turns to the camera and I believe he said "go on youtube and watch the fight" or something along those lines. Then the fat cornerman jumped in and admonished Berlanga for talking LOL. This is pure comedy. First he tells Berlanga I've seen you in the amateurs getting knocked out. Then he tells the cameraman go on youtube and watch the fight LOL

Floyd Mayweather Sr. once said "When you back up a man who wants to come forward, he's in trouble." Berlanga is killing it now in the pros but watching some of his amateur and training videos he looks very uncomfortable when someone is pushing him back. We will see how he does when he steps up in competition and when someone does back him up.

I wonder when this sparring was, and ironic that Lubin is talking about someone getting KO'd lol. But Lubin has been a beast in the gym for a while, his chin in the pros has been the question mark and now he fights more conservative. Even when he was like 16 or 17, he was putting it on guys like Amir Imam, supposedly gave Tony Harrison a solid beating and hurt Kanat Islam in the first 20 seconds during their session.

As for Berlanga, the video where he got dropped in the amateurs was in 2015. He wasn't a great amateur or anything but it would be nice to see someone that can back him up some or land some shots on him to see how he would react to them. So far so good, but getting rounds in against guys like Rosado would be nice for his progression.

I'm extremely high on Berlanga, however yeah he still has ways to go and yes we will have to find out eventually if he can actually take a punch and if he can go Rounds. Those are things that needs to be answered vs Quality Competition before talking about Canelo, Benavidez and all those guys

Lubin is NO JOKE though, I know a lot of people written him off after the Charlo fight and even after the recent Gausha fight in which he dominated but got hurt late in that one people still doubt him. Lubin was NO Joke as Amateur 143-7 as a Amateur was knockout guys out with Head Gear:

So it is no shame in getting worked over by Lubin. Berlanga likely got better from it I'm sure! This is kinda weak though, he has a big Buzz going and people already want to hate on this Kid and tear him down already. People was also trying to tear down Teofimo for getting dropped in Sparring by Janelson Figueroa in sparring and now...

I agree, putting this video out now is trash.

Everyone gets knocked down. Even Andre Ward has been knocked down.

The question is, what did he learn from that? As long as he keeps improving, that's what matters.
