  • Chris Mannix vs Jermall Charlo, Talks Canelo, Andrade Offers. Charlo gets HEATED 🔥🔥

For the 1st time publicly Jermall Charlo responds to Oscar De La Hoya saying they offered him/his handlers the Canelo fight before Jacobs. I promise this is worth the listen.

    https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas...x/id1176276029

At 45:34 the interview begins. 49:41 it starts getting interesting, he gets asked about the offers & he gets angry/agitated with Mannix questions towards the end of the interview.

    Charlo on the Andrade offer:
"You can't pay me what I'm making now & be like hey then we're gonna fight for both of the belts. Like this a big fight for me like you know, this something ppv worthy uh like you know uh."

"The offer didn't make sense, umm & I'm pretty sure my team woulda took the offer if it made sense."

Charlo on if Canelo GGG fights he been asking for are there for him:
"You must don't watch boxing, you must don't watch boxing, alright then watu think what do- yeah they there for me all I gotta do is fight. I gotta continue to fight, win & Imma be the best I can be! Idk watu asking me! Watu want me to say!? 'Naa they not there for me' watu want me to give you, they there for me duh, if you know boxing you know it. If you don't you gon ask questions like this!"

I want to know how people feel about him saying that the unification with Andrade is going to cost a little bit more on their network (meaning Dazn) and him saying you can't pay me what I'm already making now for that fight. 7 mill for Dennis Hogan, Brandon Adams?

Mannix is an A$$hole make no mistake about it and often I would love to see Sergio Mora hit him with a Combo sometimes when he does that Condescending Sh^t he does BUT he asked the right question during this interview

Charlo brothers can get overly emotional at times inside and outside of the ring

Lol at his podcasts description : "Chris Mannix will bring fans closer to the sport".

I really can't stand him. And I agree with sicko. I'd love to see Mora break his jaw.

The questions he asked were all topical but were all intentionally used to discredit Jermall's credibility. He was calling Jermall a ducker the entire time without saying the exact words. Of course Jermall was gonna get mad.

He is a ducker. He ducked Mannix's questions like he ducked Canelo and Andrade.

So he admits there was actually an offer made, yet his trainer (what's his name?) came out after weeks of deafening silence denied there was such offer, even accused Hoya of lying.

Let's just hope Charlie never mentions Canelo's name again.

Charlo was being overly sensitive and made a few admissions on the offers that his own team didn't make, and chris mannix isn't a saint either with his passive aggressive questions. It's just hilarious to watch the 2 of them talk ******.

Charlo did the stanky leg emotionally and mentally when asked tough questions. Manixx did what reporters are supposed to do. Charlo is 30 and still afraid to unify.

I agree with this but Mora is a former fighter & basically has set the tone for how their relationship goes by being laxed. I can see how other's wouldn't like it but maybe he's cool with it.

He is tho, at least with Andrade. He has more leverage in that negotiation & it doesn't seem to be a willingness to collaborate. No actual negotiating. With Canelo it's a take it or leave it thing, but even if he was slightly lowballed. He gains more than anybody else he could fight if he beats him so idk..

Often times fans say interviewers don't ask the right questions & they kiss aśs too much. I believe Mannix asked the right questions that the people wanna know the answers to & did so in a way that wasn't disrespectful or fan boyish.

It is. There's more interest than either one vs Derevyanchenko. Neither one are household names or ppv stars. But for a 1st (or 2nd in Charlo's case) this is a great entry level ppv.

                  Let's look at recent history:
                  SpenceGarcia
                  CrawfordPostol
                  SpencePorter
                  CrawfordKhan
                  TankLSC
                  GGGLemieux
                  CaneloAngulo

The only recent ones I can think of that it's not better than would be KovalevWard 1& 2. & GGGJacobs.

Not using any fighter twice, it's one of the biggest & best fights to be made in boxing.

I used to dig Mannix but he's turned into a DAZN shill since they hired him. Mfer can't not mention Andrade if his life depended on it.

And like it or not Charlo is right. The starting offer on a fight off the network where I make $x per fight has gotta be $x + $1 at a minimum. If you aren't offering a better deal whats the point. Especially when the other side is fooking Andrade who's resume is in need of some improvements itself.
