What an idiot! GGG's chances decrease every day that goes by and Canelo is still in the early stages of his prime. Also his reasoning doesn't make sense wtf is his point?

He said they’re fighting Szeremeta first and maybe another fight as well. The Szeremeta fight was already signed and expected to happen first.

Time's not on his side, that's true but I wouldn't be surprised if he still isn't able to hang with Canelo by the time the fight happens.

It's not up to the trainer he isn't the manager or the fighter. Unless he wants to walk away there isn't anything he can do. Golovkin must be on board or else Banks wouldn't have said this.

LMAO these guy's are such divas.

Hopefully even his fan base can see how difficult it is to make a fight with the guy.

He'll fight Rosado at 157, but complained about having a catchweight with Canelo.

And now he and his team are turning down a showdown for 2020, which means we'll just have to hear about how much older GGG is next year, when in reality it's their own decision to delay fights, create obstacles and fight no hopers in the meantime

I bet we'll see Banks dropped pretty soon.

3g will succeed in pissing Canelo off and not getting a third fight

In Alvarez mind he already won twice and doesn’t need 3g

For sure, that will almost definitely be his last fight (and absolutely his last big fight), so if he can fight some mid- or C-level guys in the meantime and keep selling his brand and building DAZN (which he has equity in now) I think that's what he'd like to do.

Still, if he waits until he's 40 to fight Canelo he's got to worry about just how bad that fight might go for him.

Many think his best strategy in a third Canelo fight is to take a Hagler-Hearns tack and go all out early on, but if he's 40 and tries that unsuccessfully, he'd almost certainly get knocked out.
