Did Jack Johnson Draw The Color Line? Nope!

Put some respect on his name and stop lying. It's time to end this silly contention once and for all. I've seen this lie over and over, and it's my pleasure to honor the great Jack Johnson by dispelling this silly notion.

    1. How did Jack Johnson draw the color line....by fighting a black man in his 7th title defense?

Unless this is a white man, Jack Johnson couldn't have drawn the color line.

    2. After he became champion, Jack Johnson signed to fight Joe Jeannette for the title, only to have the NY commission cancel the bout. Here is the proof.

    New York Times--August 15th, 1912

    3. Jack Johnson accepted fights with McVey and Langford. The bouts were pulled after he was bagged for the Mann Act bullshlt. Here is the proof.

    New York Times -- October 13th, 1912

    And the cancellation:

    New York Times -- October 22nd, 1912

To tell lies about this man, especially after all he went through, is pathetic. Keep it above level and honor this great champion!

    - -Like I said, you know yer ABCs and 123s yet lack the reading comprehension of a kindergartener.

Jeanette and Wills both rated Sam over JJ because he ducked Sam.

All you've done is prove how hard championship hvy bouts were to be made in that era.

JJ living in Paris had free reign and still ducked Sam and Joe and was stripped.

Weep thee softly in yer Frosted Corn Flakes and pray for gravitas.

What does any of your drivel have to do with whether the man drew the color line or not.

Yet another strike out for you, Queenie Yea, we get it. Bouts were hard to make when they were jamming Jack up on fake charges. Thanks for the insightful info

Proof that he didn't duck fighters (that he already fought, by the way) is right in front of your face, but you're brain dead. Sorry Queenie. Next time you reply, you better come with some facts to disprove the OP, or you might just have to take another ban from this thread. Good Luck

LMAO. Yet another wasted post. No facts to add? That's strike two, Queenie.

Now let me make it clearer for you. This is very simple. All you have to do to prove Jack Johnson drew the color line is:

          1. Prove Jim Johnson was in fact a white man, with a whole lot of brown paint all over his body.

          2. Prove the information about Johnson vs. Jeannette is false.

          3. Prove the fights vs. McVey and Langford weren't pulled by the Australian promoters.

If you can do that, you win. If you can't....pobrecito...you lose

Last chance! If your next post is a dud, you get the axe Good luck!!!!!!

US government/white society drew the color line.
Johnson shouldn't be blamed for living in that era.

A certain little birdy wants to pretend this doesn't exist

                  3. Jack Johnson accepted fights with McVey and Langford. The bouts were pulled after he was bagged for the Mann Act bullshlt. Here is the proof.

I didn't have room to add these in the OP.
