Ryan Garcia beefing with his Manager. Manager takes him to arbitration

Ryan Garcia last fought in March and there was talk that he might be able to quick turnaround to fight on Canelo undercard. Then there were reports he might be on the Anthony Joshua undercard. It's about to be June and he still doesn't have a fight date. Well apparently this is why. He is beefing with his Manager and his manager has now taken him to arbitration. According to Steve Kim Golden Boy can't book his next fight because of this.

First Ennis and now Garcia? Damn, youngsters already having promotional/managerial issues. Shame.

Common it boxing sadly! Young guys turn pro, sign with certain people thinking they can help their careers and help make them stars, then as you mature and become smarter you realize that they're all FULL OF SH#T

I think the Devin Haney route is the way to go but not everybody is fortunate enough to have a father like Bill Haney who has EXPERIENCE as a Manager

Best of luck to Ryan hopefully he clears that situation up. Currently have talents like Boots Ennis on the shelf because of a similar situation with a "Hole In The Wall Promoter"

Heard his manager on a podcast a while back.... I'd never heard of him before, he owns Legendz gym in SoCal. Wonder what the story is, because Garcia's careers been coming along nice.

The one silver lining is he is learning all this now rather then late in his career. His ceiling is Canelo money. He is already more famous them most world champs, already selling out venues and has endorsements, pop magazine spreads his own TV show. Imagine the money he will be making once he gets a strap around his waist?

Better squable over thousands when you just turned 20 then millions in your 30's.

That's if he ends up being the real deal. Right now plenty of young fighters around his weight classes are seen as better fighters. His earning potential is definitely huge though...As long as he delivers in the ring.

You could say that for every fighter. So far his career's been moved perfectly. He already has a lot of revenue streams despite such a young age. He hasn't banked big money fight purses because he ain't won a title yet and is still on his prospect fighter contract. But he got a big signing bonus because he was a blue Chip prospect and there was a bidding war with all the top promoters begging to sign him. And because of all the exposure he's gotten in such a short time fighting he got all kinds of endorsements, acting jobs, modeling jobs. He's already more paid outside of boxing then most world champs and definitely more paid then any other prospect. It doesn't matter if you think someone else is better my point is nobody has bigger ceiling. If he and all these young fighters reach their full potential nobody is being paid as much as he will. The money he has already made is just scratching the surface to the money he will make later.

Most of these young fighters need a world title to become famous and get money that's the normal progression of a fighter. The title and big fights hopefully get you there...well he already has both without a title yet. lol Their ceiling is world champ and one of the top guys in boxing. Ryan ceiling is not just a star but the face of boxing. The next canelo, the next Oscar, etc better to get any snakes out your circle now before he is really seeing stuipd money

Whats the biggest jobs he's done out of the ring? Obviously I know he's moving outside of boxing, but idk what he's doing outside the ring truth be told outside of being the king of prospects on SM.
