I saw a similar type rally as Ward/Kov. Esp for the fact that Canelo looked like ass when he gassed and the precision and power that won him the early rounds just wasn't there.
Like Ward, GG stayed consistent and focused, and I thought he won the fight. I was really surprised at the judge's decisions tonight. Really surprised.

Its just like why all major sports have multiple view replays for the officials and clearly defined rules...fans want consistency. One fight he gets penalized for stalking, next fight he gets dinged for not stalking. I see the OP's point, Ward came back from a bigger deficit and won with more close rounds than GGG's last half. Great fight and unfortunately because of how the sport is, plenty of controversy to follow.
