From Eddie Hearn who said it in March. But the caveat is, it'll only make over $100 mil if Wilder signs with Eddie Hearn

    More BS from Hearn.

Eddie Hearn working on deal to sign Deontay Wilder to Matchroom ahead of superfight with Anthony Joshua

Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson combined to generate a fight worth £73m when they tangled in Memphis in 2002. It remains the richest heavyweight fight of them all and only events involving Floyd Mayweather Jr have bettered it since.

But Hearn said: “Of course it depends on the pay-per-view buys, but I would hope that a fight between Joshua and Wilder generates over £100m.

"HOPE" and he's talking about total revenue not purses. Dumb Wilder fans and Finkel think there's going to be 100 mil in purses.

Just make the fight on a % split basis; obviously wilder gets smaller cut as he only has 1"title" - but he is going to UK so split should reflect that.

If wilder wins then Joshua gets same deal for a rematch in States.

      Sound fair?

          The rest of the quote

“I think it would generate more than Tyson against Lennox did.
          £73,000,000 is over $100,000,000

If you do a % Split then how much it makes shouldn't even be a ***ing issue! It makes everybody involved work that much harder to make sure they all make the most money possible and promote the hell out of this thing

OK lets say it is a $50 Million Fight and what is wrong with a 65/35 Split of that? So 65% of $50 Million would be what? $32.5 Million? Leaving Wilder with what $17.5 Million that sounds MORE THAN FAIR actually.

Stop with the excuses and stop protecting men that could whip your ass we should all be wanting this fight at all cause but that is not the case. Some of you don't want this fight because you're unsure if your guy can win so you're playing Agent, Adviser, Promoter and everything but a Fan to come up with excuses as to why they shouldn't fight.

Al Haymon & Shelly Finkel as well Eddie & Barry Hearn they can come up with Sponsors and all that stuff on both sides of the pond and cash in BIG on this one IF both sides really want to make this fight. It doesn't have to be a $100 Million fight again it can be $50 Million which is still a lot of damn money to split then remember this is heavyweights, it doesn't stop with 1 Match Up. This Could easily be a rivalry with them fighting multiple times. If the 1st fight is a thriller which I think it will be then the rematch for sure can get up to $100 Million.

Over 100 million pounds would be over 143 million dollars.

Surely of the over 143 million dollars Hearn thinks the fight can generate, Wilder shouldn't be accepting a flat fee of $12.5 million.

A fight of this magnitude is done on a percentage split. Period. If Parker got 33%, Wilder easily deserves 38%. Common sense.

Joshua wilder could be massive, easy fight to sell, make no mistake about it.

Would help if they both left showtime and fought on HBO though, showtime hasn't built a star in forever.

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Wilder doesn't deserve anything more than is being offered. His own promoter values him at 2 mil.
