Promoter Andrei Ryabinsky of World of Boxing believes he's got the next king of the light heavyweight division, World Boxing Association (WBA) champion Dmitry Bivol. On Saturday in Monaco, 26-year-old Bivol retained his world title for the first time with a vicious first round knockout of Australian contender Trent Broadhurst - which was televised by HBO in the United Stated.

Eastern Europe should have this division locked down going forward; Kovalev, Beterbiev, Bivol, and Gvozdyk.

Doubt that any of them end up figuring out Stevenson's left hand though, which likely means that the lock won't last all that long.

Stevenson-Alvarez in January, likely Stevenson-Beterbiev after that, and then Stevenson-Bivol after that.

Kovalev can decide if he wants to fight in front of 15k-20k in Montreal against Stevenson or hope to find a Russian broadcaster and simply go home to fight

I can see Stevenson beating all but Kovalev, but I can't see Stevenson wanting to fight any of them. At 40, I'm glad Stevenson's reign is almost over. He's the reason the division has been held back. Once he gets dethroned and we get a champion that seeks out the best, LHW instantly becomes one of the hottest divisions in boxing.

LMAO if you really believe stevenson would fight any one of them. And yes they will ko stevenson. You're not beating these guys from the outside. Ward realized this.

                  That's too early to say

We havemto see him against some top 10 opponents to really judge if that is the case

Yeah to early to tell but he looks very promising. A lot of good fights to be made at 175, hopefully politics doesnt get in the way
