Sunday
3-6 mile run

Sparring is done daily in the evening, I usually get an average of 3-6 rounds of heavy sparring in.
That is my workout plan, I feel it is effective for an amateur as it keeps the intensity high. When I actually had gotten a trainer I showed him my routine and he said it was legitmate and we could work with it. Some of it is taken from Andre Wards workout, which I thought was phenomenol and he was above a lot in the amateurs.

I just got done gettin my weight down too 180, im fighting tomorrov, i knocked an older and more experienced fighter to the ribbs on wednesday so i feel real confident.

Spinx Jinx- your routine is good n lots of intensity, but u shouldnt train 7 days a week, and you can't sparr every day, that's the worse thing to do.

I spar M/W/F/S

Training 7 days a week keeps me focused and disciplined, I have no problems in my training and I never feel fatigued at all. Sundays is a light jog anyways to get the blood pumping.

if you read Ross's books, he says u should sparr no more then 3 times a week if u have a fight comin up, and sometimes u should take it to once a week..

BTW spinks, u go to a gym? or you train at home?

you should also try n add in some weights 1-2 tiems a week and definately some plyometrics for some POWER and Speed, but spinx, U seem to be real determined, and thats great. I'll post my work out later.

If 7 days a week works for Spinx, fair enough. Personally I cant train at high intesity 7 days a week, I'm just too fatigued.

Roy Jones went 7 days a week when he was really good.

But on the other side Ibeabuchi didn't spar at all the last couple years of his carrear.
