Don't like seeing a fighter quit. Brook's a wilter anyway, but he had that fight to win. I thought he had a very good first half of the fight, then it all went to shit.

I'm not patriotic, but one thing I do believe is that British fighters should have the heart of lions.

No. He was told how close to blindness he was against GGG and then Spence appears to have done the exact same thing to the other eye so I can understand him not wanting to risk it. He's got a life outside of his career and thus it's unfair for people to expect him to potentially put that lifestyle at risk and continue fighting with a clear injury.

And no, before someone jumps on me; the above is not an excuse, Spence was clearly winning at the time and had the fight in full control so whether Brook quit or fought out the last round and a half was totally irrelevant.

I think he did a very good job at disguising his quittage against Gennady Gonad Golovkin, so much so that it didn't count as a quit.
