Granados did himself right tonight vs what turned out to be another puff of smoke. Imam can comeback, but now he's been humbled... so he has to not crumble mentally, and HAS to get the defense in check. But geez, Granados was full blast for all those rounds. Great work ethic.Comment

Shocked
To say I was shocked would be a complete understatement. I thought Imam would run through this guy and would go on to fight Postol in a good junior welterweight title fight.
I guess he was just overrated or maybe his past competition was soft. I don't know. I have seen him before on Showtime and always was under the impression he had the goods to be the king of the division.
Props to the guy Granados. He was tough, strong, and wouldn't back down.
But Imam just took a huge step back and he just lost his mandatory spot. I am sure he will recover eventually but this was a big blow to him and Don King. I am sure Don King was like YOU HAVE TO BE F______KING KIDDING ME!!!!Comment

Wow, I was talking this dude up and thought it was going to be easy work when he knocked him down in the 1st. I was high on Amir Imam and Errol Spence Jr., but neither looked good tonight, especially Imam. Imam was so frustrated that he told the corner that the jab wasn't working and ask what he's supposed to do know. They didn't even give him any solutions as to how to make it work, they just said, "Then make it work". Now every fighter he face is going to pressure him. Before the ref stopped the fight, he should of took a knee and during all those other rounds, he should of held so the ref can break them up.
Good work for the guy that I never heard of and maybe he can be a household name. Couple upsets tonight with Klitschko taking an L also.Comment
