Default Highlight reel of Gerald Mclellan.

Here is a highlight reel of the great potential that Gerald Mclellan possesed. He is now blind, brain damaged, and permanently ruined. His epic battle with Nigel Benn ended tragically as Gerald Mclellan had to stop the fight by taking a knee in a fight that should have been stopped 2 rounds earlier.

There was absolutely no evidence of Gerald being seriously hurt at that point. In fact, he didn't look hurt at all.....just gassed out.
He was O.K. enough to drop Benn in the 8th, & almost have him out.

i dissagree that the fight should of been stopped there was no indication that he was goin to end up the way he did. he had ben down twice in the fight so it was not like ben totally dominated cuz he didnt.

He didnt look that hurt even wen he was stopped.

But his corner should have known there was somthing wrong with the way he had trouble breathing and his blinking.

Im not blaming them at all. Just saying if anyone knew there was somthing wrong, it would have been them.

Excellent video btw.

Great KO's.

But u know wat i liked best about it, was out of the 3 Nigel Benn clips, one of them showed how good his defence was. Its the second one, where he is on the ropes, and slipping McClellens left hooks, and right hands.
Great defence.

Great clip.

The Benn fight was one of the best I have ever seen, Benn shouldn't have survived but he did and recorded an unbelievable victory, such a shame about McClellan, great fighter and warrior, its a risk every fighter takes and we should applaud their bravery.

Very sad but I suppose there are lots of people who risk their health ever day! (Firefighters, soldiers etc)

Great fighter though, great clip.
