Ali doesn't have Parkinsons disease he has parkinsons syndrome, which is a result of tremendous trauma of the brain stem. Pugilist Parkinsons was likely caused by all the late beating he took from Foreman, Frazier etc. Those late wars and constant use of the rope a dope sent him on his way.

I think it was because of Foreman. Foreman, the hardest hitting HW ever who could throw his powerfull bombs non stop for more than 5 rounds, put everything he got on Ali's body. It was just not correct for him to end up like this.

prolly from the accumlation of punches over time is what did him in, joes gotta b the biggest culprit of the damage done, but he continued even with parkinsons which just made it worse in the early 80s
