Does anyone know anything about van Heerden? You can usually tell more from a fighters losses than his wins & the fact that his only loss was a split decision in the other guys hometown speaks volumes.

Dont know much about Van Heerdan, but will be rooting for Matt of course.
He's really come into his own since his brother retired (the first time) and formed his own identity.

Van Heerden beat Matt in an apparently ugly, bad-tempered scrap that was far from being a classic.
Hard to see where Matty goes from here ....especially as Van Heerden is not exactly the second coming on Brian Mitchell or even Phillip Halliday.
Might be time for Matt to call it a day and Van Heerden will get badly exposed soon enough by someone like Brook.
